Attention all students.
Firstly I would like to thank all those who turned up for the sponsored walk on Sunday. We had over 100 people there and it turned out to be a great success. It is now time to return your sponsorship form; ever if you did not do the walk please return your form to the club asap. Students who raised over £50 will receive a hoodie and students who raised over £100 will receive a Gi with their name embroidered on it. For obvious reasons this will take a couple of weeks to arrange.
FIT KIDS – The club is now running a fit kids scheme in Coleraine Leisure Centre on a Monday 4-5pm and a Tuesday in Ballymoney St Patricks Hall from 6pm-7pm. Join in on the fun!
FUNDRASIER ANNOUCNCEMENT!
The club is holding a poker night which will take place in the Club Dojo on Saturday 25th June at 8.00pm.
The club would appreciate all those who take part in this event, refreshments and spot prizes will be provided at no cost.
Unfortunately only students who are over the ages of 18 can take part. But this does not mean your parents cannot attend on your behalf! This night always turns out to be a success with lots of laughs. If you are interested in attending can you please give a £10 non-refundable deposit to the club instructor, if you do not attend this money will be contributed towards the fundraiser.
Dates to remember:

• Junior Squad, Saturday 18th June. Coleraine West Community Centre 1.00pm-3.00pm.
• Senior Squad, Sunday 19th June. Club Dojo 1.00pm-4.00pm.
• Ballysally club shuts for summer on Monday 20th of June. It will be resuming as normal throughout the summer in the club dojo. The club will reopen in the community centre on Monday 12th of September.
• Ballycastle club shuts for summer on Wednesday 22nd of June. It will then reopen on Wednesday 7th of September.
• Zanshin Course, Sunday 24th July. Kata Only. More Details to follow.
• Grading on 29th and 30th. This includes the black belt grading. Brown and black belts who train on the Saturday your course is free.
• Monday 1st August, Lancaster Summer camp. If students are interested in taking part in this course the club will try and help to subsidise the price of the course.

• Portrush- Friday’s 7.00-8.30pm

The clubs which are closed will reopen on the second week of September.
All clubs will be shut over the 12th weekend.

Running:    July 4th – July 8th
There will be two slots each day 10am-12pm and 12.15pm – 2.15pm
There are only eight spaces in each class it is £50 per student.
This course covers all aspects of karate and will ensure success at the end of the week.
You will receive two stamps per day on your card as you are doing intense training.
If you would like to take part in this year’s School of Excellence please complete the slip below and return to the club ASAP as places tend to go fast.
